I am bald, and gray hairs are all over my beard. They have my ruined my stay here in Las Vegas. I am a guest at this hotel, and these dealers made me feel as if I was a criminal. After that, she had me take the hat of my sweatshirt down, which I also agreed to. She then proceeded to make me take my mask down, which I agreed to.
I was just trying to understand what exactly was going at this point. It took me 2 attempts to get it in the correct spot for her, lol. I showed it to her, and she demanded that I place it on the table in a specific spot. Then she instructed me to take it out of my wallet, which I agreed to. She instructed me to give her my ID, which I agreed to. I calmly told her that I had never played 3 card poker before and the gentleman (a white male) standing right next to me,’whom was also just watching, was explaining the game to me. One dealer said that because I was standing at the table before sitting down, that she needed my ID. I have never been this embarrassed in my life. They took my money before asking for my ID, and no one else received this type of response from the dealers. I was the only black guy at each table, and while I was sitting down, I paid. I will be looking into talking to someone from the gaming commission over this.
I got carded at 3 tables (the only person to be carded at these tables).
